Shipping Policy

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and your interest in learning more about our shipping and order pick up policy.

Order Processing

It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address.  UPS and Fed Ex can not ship to a post office box. If you use a PO Box address please supply a physical address as well.

Web orders are processed throughout our business hours Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm PST. Orders are not processed on weekends and statutory holidays.  Pick up orders from our Armstrong facility are ready within 2 hours of placing the order, based on our hours of operation.  Pick up orders must be collected within 5 business days.

Order Shipping

Web orders are shipped with Fed Ex, UPS or Canada Post.

Fed Ex and UPS pick up from our Armstrong BC location Monday through Friday excluding statutory holidays.

We are situated in a rural location therefore Canada Post shipments need to be delivered to our local Canada Post office.  We will ship Canada Post orders once per week.

Shipping Costs

We recognize shipping can be expensive, especially when you consider our products are heavy.  We do not mark up, subsidize or build shipping costs into our product pricing.  Simply put, we do not believe there is such a thing as ‘free shipping.’  

Shipping Liability Coverage

Fed Ex, UPS and Canada Post include $ 100.00 of liability coverage. In the event of damage caused by the carrier during shipment, $ 100.00 is the maximum coverage obtainable.

Canada Post shipments offer the option to purchase additional liability coverage in excess of $ 100.00 during checkout.

Fed Ex and UPS orders requiring additional insurance must be placed via email at info@fieldstoneorganics.ca

If you are concerned about theft you are best to seek coverage through you homeowner policy or a separate policy.

Managing Your Delivery

Your email address is important information in the shipping process as this is how the carrier will update you.  This tracking information will provide the expected delivery and allow you to monitor the arrival of your shipment and plan accordingly.  We encourage customers to track their deliveries regularly to be aware of updates.  The tracking information will be sent to you from Freightcom.

Residential deliveries aren’t guaranteed with Fed Ex, UPS and Canada Post and sometimes pick up from a local depot is required.  Fed Ex deliveries to rural communities may be completed by Canada Post or other third party carriers.

Cancelled Orders

We realize that sometimes you change your mind once an order is made.  We make every effort to pick and ship orders as quickly as possible.  Due to the processing, labour, packaging costs and payment processing charges involved there is a 10% restocking fee charged on cancelled orders.  Refunds for the balance owed are applied within 7 days to the credit card used at the time of purchase.

Shipping Tips

Our largest shipping box holds 20 kgs of product and we have found a 20 kg box offers the greatest value for your shipping dollar.  Configure it how you like, 4 x 5 kg bags, 2 x 10 kg bags or one 20 kg bag.

If your order weighs more than 120 kg, reach out to us for alternative carrier options.

Return Policy

As our products are Certified Organic food we are unable to accept returns.  If you are unhappy with our products please reach out to us.
