The Komo electric flour sifter is a useful accessory if you have an interest in using white flour. The electric flour sifter attaches to the top of the Komo milling unit once the hopper and top stone are removed from the mill. When ground flour is placed in the electric sifter the white flour passes through the sieve and out of the mill spout while the bran is held back in the sifting unit.
The Komo Electric Flour Sifter allows you to separate coarse bran from whole grain flour with the flip of a switch. After milling your whole grain flour through your Komo electric mill you simply unscrew the hopper and remove both the hopper and top milling stone and place the supplied ring and sifting unit onto the mill where the hopper typically placed. Once your milled flour is poured into the sifter and the lid is placed on top the electric sifter will separate the bran and your flour will flow through the spout of the mill. A plexiglass funnel protects the sifter and flour. There are three sieve inserts and they are interchangeable, coarse, medium and fine mesh sizes. The electric sifter fits all of the Komo electric mills manufactured after 2013.
